Popular herb used to flavor many dishes, especially in South Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines, dried fenugreek leaves are also known as "kasuri methi" in Indian cuisine. These leaves have a distinct, somewhat bitter flavor and are produced by the fenugreek plant (Trigonella foenum-graecum).
